Okay, time to go digital! (A short, pictureless update)

I’ve considered multiple ways of doing the prototype, but I’ve settled on Flash. Actually, I’m doing two prototypes. One for the game, one to test the questions.

You see, the game has a quiz mini game in three levels of difficulty. The problem is that I don’t feel comfortable determining how hard a question is, and that is what the second prototype will be testing.

So what am I doing with the real game? Well, I’m sticking with the world map for now. I want to make a second battlefield as well. For the prototype I’m thinking cultural, with the different “continents” being Movies, Games, Literature, Music and TV. (They may change depending on the questions I find).

I’ve also mentioned other mini games before. They aren’t a priority of mine right now, as I want to have a playable prototype first. Then comes the alternative mini games. I have plans for a sound-based game, and for a drawing game. With my current idea, the latter will only be available when 3+ players are playing. Not sure that is something that will work or not yet, but that will be tested!

Oh, and before I forget! I got feedback on my first report. It was generally very positive, and I feel like I’m on the right track.
